Perfect for a variety of bait fishing applications, the Daiwa Emcast LT Bite n’ Run Spinning Reels are the first “live-liner” or “bait-runner” reels built on Daiwa’s LT Light and Tough platform. The Emcast LT features a secondary drag system that can be engaged while live or chunk bait is in the water that significantly reduces drag pressure, allowing the fish to run after taking the bait. By flipping the rear switch or simply turning the handle, the reel then reengages the primary Advanced Tournament Drag System where up to 26 pounds of smooth drag pressure will work to put the brakes on the target.
